We are totally super-pumped (that's the most pumped you can be) to groove out to the sweet sounds of Ikebe Shakedown. First off, their name is awesome. Pronounced 'ee-KAY-bay' Shakedown, this band puts on a great show filled with all the soulful afro-beat funky goodness you could want. Every single tune on their myspace page makes you move, the tight-as-hell horn section punching out strong melodies over the solid rhythm section's grooves. If you like Budos Band, you're gonna love these guys. If you don't know who Budos Band is, you're still gonna love these guys.
